Away from the crowds, just the two of you

Propose in a restaurant or on the waterfront and you're surrounded by strangers. On Hermes, the yacht, captain and crew are there for you alone for the whole cruise. Behind you, the Bosphorus, its bridges and waterfront mansions; in front of you, just that one question.

Hermes is an 18-metre motor yacht departing from Bebek Marina. The upper deck, the aft-deck dining table and the interior saloon are all yours. We plan where and how the proposal table is set up together on WhatsApp.

If you'd like family and friends on board after the surprise, you can bring up to 10 guests in total.

How we plan your proposal

1. Choose the time

The most popular time is sunset. When you choose a day in the booking calendar, it shows that day's sunset time and highlights the two-hour slot around it. If you want a laser show, choose a duration that runs past dark.

2. Choose the duration

The minimum is 2 hours. For the proposal, a celebration and a meal, 3 hours is more relaxed. You can charter between 08:00 and 04:00, for 2 to 10 hours.

3. Add extras

Romantic decoration, €40: rose petals, candlelight, red heart balloons
Photographer, €75: photo and video
Laser show, €40
Custom letter balloons, €10 per letter: large letters; a 4-letter name, for example, is €40
Food (per person): snacks and cocktail menu €20, dinner €40

4. Settle the details on WhatsApp

After booking, we confirm the table setting, decoration and timing of the big moment on WhatsApp. If it's a surprise, keep the chat on your phone; telling your partner it's "a Bosphorus cruise" is enough.

Private cruise, service, tea, coffee and water are included. You pay 30% of the yacht charter as a deposit (€60 for 2 hours) and the rest on board on the day. Boarding at Bebek Marina and Kandilli is free; other piers cost €40 per pier.

Meet us at Bebek MarinaYour chosen decoration is ready; you just bring the ring. The rest is paid on the day.

Cancellations and date changes

If your cruise is 15 or more days away, you can change the date free of charge. With less than 15 days to go, date changes depend on availability. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel; it is refunded if the cruise cannot go ahead due to bad weather. Full cancellation policy (Turkish)
