The yacht

Meet Hermes

Hermes is an 18-metre motor yacht based at Bebek Marina, in the middle of the Bosphorus. She has a sun deck with lounge seating, an aft-deck dining table and an interior saloon, so the cruise stays comfortable in summer heat and on cooler evenings.

When you book, the whole yacht is yours: no shared tour, no strangers at the next table. A licensed captain and crew look after your group, and all passengers are insured.

Service, tea, coffee and water are included in every cruise. Food menus, a photographer and decoration can be added.

Sunset cruise

The most popular time on the water. Set off an hour before sunset, watch the sky change behind the European hills and come back under the bridge lights. 2–3 hours is ideal.

Marriage proposal on a yacht

Rose petals, candles and heart balloons on deck, a photographer hidden on board, and the Bosphorus behind you when you ask the question.

Birthday on a yacht

Balloons, a laser show and dinner on deck for up to 10 guests. A birthday your friends will remember.

Princes' Islands swim cruise

A full day out: 8 hours from 10:00 to the Princes' Islands with swim stops when conditions allow. €730 for the whole yacht.

3rd Bridge swim cruise

6 hours from 10:00 north along the Bosphorus towards the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and the Black Sea entrance, with swim stops. €460 for the whole yacht.

Boarding at Bebek Marina and Kandilli is free. Pick-up or drop-off at another Bosphorus pier costs €40 per pier, plus the yacht's travel time from Bebek at the hourly rate; we confirm it on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to rent a yacht on the Bosphorus?

Hermes costs €100 per hour for the whole yacht, with a 2-hour minimum. A 2-hour cruise is €200 in total, not per person. Prices are in euros and include VAT.

Is the yacht private?

Yes. Hermes is reserved for you and your guests only; there are no other passengers on board. The captain and crew are there for your group.

How many people can come?

How do I book?

What happens if the weather is bad?

If the cruise cannot go ahead because of bad weather, your deposit is refunded.
