Why a yacht?

A studio that moves

A yacht is a photo studio that moves along the Bosphorus: one shoot can have Rumeli Fortress, the bridges, waterside mansions and open water as backdrops, with no strangers walking into the frame.

The favourite light is the hour before sunset, followed by blue hour and night shots with the bridges lit up. The calendar shows each day's sunset time.

It suits engagement and anniversary shoots, family photos, and Instagram and TikTok content.

Plan

A suggested 2-hour shoot

  1. Leave Bebek Marina about 1 hour before sunset.
  2. Daylight shots: upper deck and bow, with Rumeli Fortress and a bridge behind.
  3. Sunset: portraits in golden-hour light.
  4. Blue hour and night: final shots in front of the lit bridges, back to Bebek.

Add romantic decoration (€40) or balloon decoration (€20) to combine the shoot with a proposal, anniversary or birthday. See marriage proposal on a yacht.

This package has no fixed price: the yacht is €100 per hour (whole yacht, not per person) and you add only the menus and decoration you want.

Boarding: free at Bebek Marina and Kandilli. Pick-up or drop-off at another Bosphorus pier costs €40 per pier plus the yacht's travel time from Bebek at the hourly rate; we confirm the amount on WhatsApp.

How to book

  1. Pick the date and timeSee free hours on the calendar; the yacht is rented by the hour, 2-hour minimum.
  2. Pay the 30% depositWe confirm availability and send the deposit link on WhatsApp. You choose menus and decoration there too.
  3. Meet us at Bebek MarinaThe remaining 70% is paid on the day (cash, card or bank transfer).

Cancellation and date changes

If your cruise is 15 or more days away, you can change the date free of charge. With less than 15 days to go, date changes depend on availability. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel; if the cruise cannot go ahead due to bad weather, a yacht fault or an official ban, it is refunded or the date is moved. About yacht photoshoots

How much is a yacht photoshoot in Istanbul?

Hermes is €100 per hour (2-hour minimum) and the photographer (photo + video) is €75. A 2-hour shoot: €200 + €75 = €275. Prices include VAT.

What is the best time?

A 2-hour shoot starting about 1 hour before sunset, so you get daylight, sunset and city lights in one trip.

When are the photos delivered?

We confirm the number of photos, delivery time and format on WhatsApp when you book.

Is the price per person?

No. Hermes is €100 per hour for the whole yacht, the same for up to 10 guests. Only food menus are charged per person. Prices include VAT.

What if the weather is bad?

If the cruise cannot go ahead due to bad weather, a yacht fault or an official ban, your deposit is refunded or the date is moved.
